Ba ery icon status - Opera on
During opera on, the ba ery icon on the HR3 Reader screen indicates the actual amount of
charge le in the ba ery.
Note: To show the correct value the Reader must be turned on and disconnected from any
external power supply.

Completely fl at
Ba ery icon status - Charging
When the HR3 Reader is connected to an external power supply (12 V ba ery or 15V ba ery
charger) the ba ery icon displays the charging status:
Charging
Topping up
Trickle charging
Note: While charging using the 12 V ba ery cable, the reading of Electronic ID tags can
con nue. When the trigger is pulled and the Reader is scanning for Electronic ID tags,
charging is temporarily stopped un l a tag is read or un l the read period ends.
While connected to the 15 V ba ery charger, Electronic ID tags can not be read.

The ba ery icon displays a block that represents the
amount of charge le in the internal ba ery pack.
The ba ery icon fl ashes the icon outline indica ng
that the reader is about to shut down.
The screen is blank un l a charging cable is connected.
Ba ery icon shows all the bars constantly fi lling and
then disappearing.
Ba ery icon shows the fi rst three bars constantly full
and the remainder fi lling and then disappearing.
Ba ery icon shows only one clear bar that is
constantly travelling the length of the full Icon.
