Vibrator
The handle will vibrate upon Electronic ID recogni on. This is a single vibra on period
whether the tag is duplicate or unique.
The vibrator can be turned on and off , see the SmartReader Confi gurator Help.
Bluetooth enabled
The HR3 Hand Held Reader is Bluetooth enabled. This allows Electronic ID tag data to be
wirelessly transmi ed to a paired Bluetooth enabled device (e.g. Scale or other data logging
devices). This is turned on or off depending on opera ng mode, which is altered in the
Confi gurator. See the SmartReader Confi gurator Help.
Lamp
The lamp (red) illuminates for the following reasons:
• When the Reader scans for
Electronic ID tags, the red lamp
fl ashes on and off .
• On a successful tag read.
The lamp remains solid for an
extended period.
Note: If a tag is not read within the read
period the lamp stops fl ashing.
The ming of the lamp illumina on can be altered, see the SmartReader Confi gurator Help.
