3) Testing
To test the DBM guide you need to carry out the folloleaf checks:
1. Slide the leaf along its entire length, making sure that the sliding
carriage is not subject to any extra friction at any point.
2. Slide the leaf along its entire length, making sure that the post is
not subject to any lateral or crosswise thrusts other than those
resulting from the normal sliding of the carriage.
4) Maintenance
Scheduled routine maintenance must be performed in order to ensu-
re the long life of the DBM guide, at least every 6 months.
1. Check all the materials of the DBM guide for signs of wear; wat-
ch out for possible erosion or oxidation of the aluminium guide,
post and related fasteners.
5) Disposal
The DBM guide is made up of various types of materials some of
which can be recycled, such as aluminium and the electrical cables;
other materials must be disposed of as waste, including the cable
holding chain which is made of plastic.

3. Trigger the sensitive edge repeatedly, making sure that the detec-
tion unit switches from the active mode (ON) to the alarm mode
(Off) every time. Slide the leaf along its entire length a number of
times, making sure that the detection unit remains in the active
mode (On) all the time.

and the detection unit.
