4. Install the Rough Plumbing
NOTE: If possible, provide access to all plumbing connections to simplify future maintenance.
Locate the rough plumbing for the drain according to the appropriate model's roughing-in
dimensions.
NOTE: If the plumbing will be installed on the unfinished stud wall, install the supplies after the
surround walls are installed.
Position the water supplies according to the roughing-in information. Cap the supplies and check
for leaks.
Strap the supply lines to the stud framing.
Install the valves according to the manufacturer's instructions. Do not install trim at this time.
