Function of the meat slicer
This appliance is designed to cut meat, cold cuts,
cheeses and other foods. It is not approved for
any use other than those specified by the manu-
facturer.
Installation conditions
Install the appliance in a dry place, away from
heat sources or flammable materials, strong
enough to bear the weight of the machine and the
foods to process.
Note
This appliance has a safety switch that prevents
the appliance from being switched on automati-
cally after a power failure or disconnected from
the mains. When this happens, turn the power
off and then press the power button again.

1. Stand upright so that the sliding guide of the
meat slicer (9) is perpendicular to your body.
2. Plug the meat slicer into the wall socket.
3. Pull the food carrier (4) backwards along the
sliding guide and place the food pusher (3) on the
sliding carriage.
4. Place the food to be sliced on the sliding carria-
ge and push it onto the gauge plate (5) using the
food pusher. The food must be smaller than: 180
x 180 x 140 mm.
5. Select the slice thickness turning the thickness
selection knob (2) at the back of the appliance.
Turn the knob clockwise to obtain thinner slices
or counter-clockwise to obtain thicker slices. The
knob has marks indicating thickness in millime-
tres. Thickness marks range from 0 to 15 mm Turn
power on with the on/off switch (9).
6. Push the sliding carriage slowly towards the
blade that is rotating. An even slice forms as the
food slides along.
7. Once the carriage reaches the end, slide it
back. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you get the food
slices you need.
8. Once you have finished using the meat slicer:
Stop the motor selecting the switch 0 position.
Push the carriage towards the start of the travel.
Unplug the appliance to prevent it from starting
unexpectedly. Pick the slices. Clean the appliance
following the instructions in section Cleaning.
9
