03. MAINTENANCE AND WARNINGS.
CLEANING
CLEANING THE MACHINE
1. Turn off the machine by pressing the "OFF"
button of Switch (9). Ensure you put the cut regu-
lator (2) in the position "0" to avoid accidental
cutting.
2. Clean both the blade (6) and the carriage
(4) and their mechanisms with neutral soap, to
guarantee hygiene and proper conservation of
the appliance.
3. Rinse the machine and dry it with a clean
cloth.
CLEANING THE BLADE
1. Wear safety gloves when handling the blade
(6).
2. Remove the blade by turning the rear lever
that secures the blade to the appliance.
3. Do not touch the sharp edge.
4. Once it is clean, replace it in the machine
using the lever.
Never operate the machine when it is submer-
ged or still damp.
MAINTENANCE
LUBRICATING THE GUIDE
• Push the carriage support to one side and
clean the grease marks from the guide with a
dry cloth.
• Apply lubricant to the surface guide and
spread it with a cloth.
• We recommend you do this periodically.
LUBRICATING THE SUPPORT HANDLE SHAFT
• Clean the shaft of the Support handle with a
dry cloth.
• Apply lubricant to the two parts of the shaft
and pull the handle up and down to distribute
the lubricant evenly.
• We recommend you do this periodically.
LUBRICATING THE SHARPENER
Clean the shaft of the sharpener and apply lubri-
cant to both parts of the shaft.
LUBRICATING THE ADJUSTABLE CUTTING PLANE
• Turn the regulating control until the adjustable
cutting plane is completely open.
• Apply lubricant to both parts of the shaft
• Turn and slide the shaft to distribute the lubricant
evenly.
SPARE PARTS AND CONSUMABLES
Use it ORIGINAL PARTS authorised and appro-
ved by Udom S.L. must be used. It is recommen-
ded that deteriorated parts or components are
replaced immediately in order to guarantee
better operation, energy saving and preventing
more serious lack or accidents.
CAUTION!: When you want to dispose of the
appliance, NEVER throw it in the rubbish bin.
Take it to the WASTE FACILITY or waste collec-
tion centre closest to your home for processing.
You will thereby be helping to take care of the
environment.
