Changing the remote enquiry PIN
The PIN is a password and is used to prevent
strangers from accessing your answering ma-
chine using the remote enquiry function. When
you activate remote enquiry, you will be re-
quired to enter the PIN and will have the oppor-
tunity to change it.
PLEASE NOTE!
This PIN not the same as the system PIN
(see "System PIN" on page 86).
Select PIN CHANGE and confirm with
MENU.
Confirm the OLD PIN? query with MENU.
Enter the old pin (factory default: 0000) and
confirm with MENU.
Confirm the NEW PIN? query with MENU.
Enter the new PIN and confirm with MENU.
The OK? query appears. Confirm by pressing
MENU and then use the number keys to en-
ter a new four-digit PIN.
