11. HOW TO USE

Use only the back handle to move the chair, never use other supports. Know your own capabilities
and limitations in terms of strength and endurance before attempting to go up a ramp. Assistance
is recommended when in slope higher than 10%. If you need to stop in a sloping surface, avoid
abrupt movements. During the downhill, do not change suddenly the direction. Lift the chair up
if necessary, using the main frame and not armrests or footrests.
WARNING! The patient must not put pressure on footrests when go up and
down from the chair.

11.1 RS844

• Setting out to sit with your weight on the seat assembly. Do not sit by pushing on one side only;
• Leaning always on both arms to get up and keep your balance;
• In case of use of the chair by people with movement difficulties, help them always in the
sitting or in getting up from the chair.

FOOTREST ADJUSTMENT

The footrests of shower and WC chair can be adjusted according to your needs:
• Unfasten the screw;
• Adjust the footrest height;
• Fasten the screw again. Check that both footrests are adjusted at the same height.

HEADREST ADJUSTMENT

The headrest can be easily adjusted in different positions. To make adjustments, unscrew the
knobs on the headrest one at a time and adjust their position. Then tighten the knob firmly. Carry
out the same operations also on the other knobs if necessary.

TILT ADJUSTMENT

To tilt the chair back, pull the lever installed on the push handle and push down.
To return the chair to its normal position, simply pull the lever installed on the push handle. The
hydraulic pistons are designed to return to the starting position without the user applying any
force.

11.2 RS846 - RS848

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

The backrest and the armrests can be adjusted together on two different heights. Unscrew and
remove the knobs that lock the backrest to the seat and raise or lower the backrest as necessary.
Finally insert and tighten the knobs again.
FOOTREST ADJUSTMENT
The footrests of shower and WC chair can be adjusted according to your needs:
