8.3 Assembling RS848

To complete the assembly carry out the following operations:
• Open the frame;
• Insert the backrest inside the holes on the wheelchair frame and fix the backrest using the
two fixing knobs (Fig.15);
• Place the seat on the wheelchair frame and press down to fix its position, then add the cover (Fig.16);
• Insert the footrests from the side and rotate them to the front until fastening into the holder (Fig.17);
• Insert the bucket from the rear side of the shower chair by sliding it into the slots (Fig.18).

8.4 Disassembling

Follow the procedure described above in reverse.

9. BEFORE TO USE

• Always check the status of the mechanical parts in order to guarantee they are used in total
safety for persons and environment.
• Check the proper assembly of the device with attention to the correct insertion and locking
screws and nuts of the backrest and footrest.

10. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

• The manufacturer and distributor are not responsible for any responsibility for the
consequences of improper use of the product.
• Always help the patient with walking difficulties to position themselves on the seat.
• Do not use with patients who exceed the maximum weight shown on the label placed on
the product frame.
• Avoid sudden movements during positioning.
• Be careful on wet floors, on wet or slippery surfaces, it could make difficult the patient
positioning.
• Do not store the product outside. Periodically check the stability of the product and the
correct fastening screws and the status of protections rubber.
• In case of doubt for the use, the adjustment or the maintenance of the product, please
contact your dealer.
• Do not exceed the maximum load capacity for any reason.
• Assist always the patient during the handling operations.
• Don't skew the chair more than 10% without assistance.
• Block the wheels during patient transfer.
• Wheelchair has to be in a stable surface and wheels locked during user transfer.
• Before leaning or get up, be sure casters are in straight position and rear castors are blocked
in order to avoid a turnover.
• Do not lean out of the backrest to avoid a turnover.
• Pay attention to your fingers during assembling, regulations or simply during the use.
• When using the self-propelled wheel, pay attention to your fingers.
• Keep the chair far from fire.
• Use always original accessories and spare parts.
