Troubleshooting
Cause of fault
Short-term electronic problem or
defect in electronic system.
Device defective.
Audio response deactivated.
Pressure gauge hose on
MEDUMAT Easy CPR or on
patient valve slipped off.
Kink in pressure gauge hose.
Ventilation parameters incorrectly
set.
MEDUMAT Easy CPR defective.
Leak in oxygen supply.
Operating error.
MEDUMAT Easy CPR defective.
Respiratory stroke was triggered
during the inspiration phase
MEDUtrigger not correctly
connected
Remedy
Switch off, then on again.
If error recurs, arrange for repairs.
Activate audio response (5.11,
page 35).
Check pressure gauge hose.
Check ventilation parameters.
Have repaired.
Find and eliminate leak (7.3, page 49).
Keep key pressed for at least 3 seconds.
Arrange for repair.
Wait until the expiration phase is over
to trigger the respiratory phase
(corresponds to the length of the
inspiration phase)
Check whether the MEDUtrigger plug
is correctly positioned and correct it
