REAR AXLE DISASSEMBLY: REMOVE THE HUBS AND

BEARINGS WITH THE BRAKE DISC

In order to remove the disc, you do not need to use any tool

included in the set.

Loosen the axle nut (Fig. 30) and the disc's fixing screws (Fig. 31)

and remove the hubs and bearings with the brake disc. Fig. 32)

Position the hubs and bearings using the brake disc with the bearing

facing upwards. (Fig. 33) Be sure to have at hand an adequate

thrust anchor, based on the outside diameter of the bearing's

housing. (Fig. 34)

Loosen the disc using a workshop press. (Fig. 35) In order to have

a stable and safe support of the disc we recommend the use of the

Würth press support 1952 003 400 as can be seen in the picture.

The supplied guide pin helps you to assemble the hubs and bearings

with the disc. The pin must be used for the precise positioning of the

assembly on the axle. (Fig. 39)
