Basic Settings

Setting the display language

Press the MENU key.
Select the "Set handset" menu.
Press the MENU key.
Select the "Language" sub-menu.
Press the MENU key.
The possible languages are then
displayed. The language currently
selected is marked.
Select the desired language.
Press the MENU key.
"Saved" is then displayed in the selected
language.

Setting the date and time

Press the MENU key.
Select the "Date/Time" menu.
Press the MENU key.
Select the "Set D/T" sub-menu.
Press the MENU key.
Using the numeric keys, enter the last
two figures of the year.
Press the MENU key.
Key in the day and month as double-
digit entries using the numeric keys.
Press the MENU key.
Key in the time as a four-digit entry
using the numeric keys.
Press the MENU key.
You will hear a beep. "Saved" appears on
the display.

The date and time settings will only
be saved while the base station is
connected to the mains.
If the date and time have not been
saved the display will show "_ _ : _
_" instead.
If you want the date or time to be
displayed in a different format please
follow the instructions below:
Press the MENU key.
Select the "Date/Time" menu.
Press the MENU key.
Select the "Time format" sub-menu.
Press the MENU key.
You can now select the display format for
the time:
For 24-hour clock format, select the
option "24 hours".
For 12-hour clock format, select the
option "12 hours".
Press the MENU key to confirm the
setting.
You can now select the display format for
the date:
Select the option "dd.mm" if you want
the day displayed before the month.
Select the option "mm.dd" if you want
the month displayed before the day.
Press the MENU key to confirm the
setting.
