Always treat the products with care and prevent the earplug and microphone
from becoming blocked with foreign matter. This impairs the function of the
sound amplification. Never let water enter the device.
1. Clean each device with a soft, dry cloth after each use. If the device
needs extra cleaning, moisten the cloth with a mild detergent. Do not use
abrasive or corrosive cleaners.
2. Let each device dry completely before reuse. Store the hearing amplifiers
in a safe, dry and clean place in the relevant storage box with the drying
capsule.
3. If not using the device for a long period, remove the battery.
4. A cleaning brush supplied is suitable for removing earwax from the ear
cushions and earpiece hole; see below for details.
Cleaning the Ear Cushions and Sound Tubes
When the earplug has been removed, you can identify whether the earwax
guard is covered with earwax. If this is the case, replace the earwax guard
(you can find out where to obtain a new earwax guard in " Accessories
and replacement parts").
