Open bypass valves
WARNING
Risk of accident!
The vehicle must be secured against shifting during
transport.
Park the vehicle.
Secure the vehicle on the fixing eyelets on the left and
the right using tie down straps.
CAUTION
Risk of damage!
The vehicle must not be towed faster than at walking
speed.
Only slowly push or pull the vehicle.
To tow the vehicle, the parking brake must be released
and the bypass valve opened.
The nuts for loosening the brake cylinders are located to
the left and right of the articulated joint.
1 Nut hydraulic brake cylinder
Loosen the nuts of the hydraulic brake cylinder on the
left and right.
The bypass valves are located on the bottom in the front
area of the tail.
1 Bypass valve
Unscrew the bypass valves by 3 revolutions
(SW 24 mm).
Fasten the towing rope to the towing eye in the front or
the rear.
Slowly drag the vehicle onto the transport vehicle.
After the towing, tighten the nuts on the brake cylinder
again (tightening torque 70 Nm) and close the bypass
valves.
