REPLACING BATTERY
When the battery power becomes low, the low battery
symbol will appear on the display. The thermometer can still be used
during this time, but the batteries should be replaced as soon as
possible.
If the batteries run out completely, "Lo" will be displayed along with
the low battery symbol. In this case, the batteries will need to be
replaced before using the thermometer again.
The batteries used in the Non-Contact Digital Infrared Thermometer
are two AAA batteries. Either rechargeable or non-rechargeable
batteries can be used in the thermometer. To replace the batteries,
follow these steps:
1. Slide the battery cover off.
2. Carefully remove the old batteries. Do not use a metal-pointed
tool.
3. Insert the new batteries, ensuring that the positive and negative
ends are aligned correctly.
4. Replace the battery cover.
5. Dispose of the expired batteries in accordance with local
environmental policies.
