1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The user manual is designed to assist in the safe and
trouble-free use of the device. The product is designed and
manufactured in accordance with strict technical guidelines,
using state-of-the-art technologies and components.

THOROUGHLY READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS
USER MANUAL.

a trouble-free operation, use it in accordance with this user
manual and regularly perform the maintenance tasks. The
technical data and specifications in this user manual are
up-to-date. The manufacturer reserves the right to make

2. USAGE SAFETY
ATTENTION! Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in an electric shock, fire
and/or serious injury or even death.
The terms „device" or „product" are used in the warnings
and instructions to refer to the Parcel/Letter Scale. Do not
use in very humid environments or in the direct vicinity of
water tanks. Prevent the device from getting wet. Do not
touch the device with wet or damp hands.
2.1. SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE
a)
Make sure the workplace is orderly and well-
lit. A messy or poorly-lit workplace may lead to
accidents. Try to think ahead, observe what is going
on and use common sense when working with the
device.
b)
If there are any doubts as to the correct operation
of the device, contact the manufacturer's support
service.
c)
Only the manufacturer's service point may repair the
device. Do not attempt any repairs independently!
d)
If a fire starts, use solely powder or carbon dioxide
(CO
) fire extinguishers suitable for use on live

devices to put it out.
e)
Please keep this manual available for future
reference. If this device is passed on to third parties,
the manual must be passed on with it.
REMEMBER When using the device, protect
children and other bystanders.
2.2. PERSONAL SAFETY
a)
Do not use the device when tired, ill or under the
influence of alcohol, narcotics or medication which
can significantly impair the ability to operate the
device.
b)
The device is not designed to be handled by persons
(including children) with limited mental and sensory
functions or persons lacking relevant experience
and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by
a person responsible for their safety or they have
received instructions on how to operate the device.
2.3. SAFE DEVICE USE
a)
Do not overload the device. Use appropriate tools
for the given task. A correctly-selected device will
perform the task for which it was designed better
and in a safer manner.
b)
Do not use the device if the ON/OFF switch does not
function properly (does not switch the device on and
off). Devices which cannot be switched on and off
using the ON/OFF switch are hazardous, should not
be operated and must be repaired.
c)
When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device, who
have not read the user manual. The device may pose
a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.
d)
Keep the device out of the reach of children.
e)
Device repair or maintenance should be carried out
by qualified persons, only using original spare parts.
This will ensure safe use.
f)
To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do
not remove factory-fitted guards and do not loosen
any screws.
g)
Clean the device regularly to avoid a durable
encrustation of dirt.
3. USE GUIDELINES
The device is designed to weigh elements placed on the
scale pan.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
improper use of the device.

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
The balance should be used in a space free of wind,
corrosion, vibration, humidity and temperature variations
3.3. DEVICE USE
Switching the device on/off:
Press the ON/OFF button.
Weighing:
1.
Place the scales on a flat surface.
2.
Press the ON/OFF button and hold it until the value
0.0 is displayed.
3.
Place the load on the scales; the weight value will be
shown on the display.
Functions:
TARE – taring:
1.
Place an empty container on the scales.
2.
Press the "TARE" button to tare the scales for the
value 0 g.
3.
Place the load on the scale.
MODE – change of the unit of measurement:
1.
Press the MODE button to change the unit of
measurement (g, kg, lb, oz, tl, ct).
PCS – package counting:
1.
Hold down the PCS button for a long time.
2.
Use the MODE button to choose the quantity and
then place the chosen quantity on the scale pan.
3.
Press PCS to confirm the quantity.
4.
Place the load to count the packages.
Calibration:
1.
Switch the scale on.
2.
Press the MODE button and hold it until the message
"cal" is shown on the display.
3.
The calibration function has been activated.
4.
When a value is shown, place the corresponding
weight on the scale pan (10.00 = 10 kg, 30.00 =10 +
20 kg).
5.
Wait until the message "PASS" is shown.
6.
The calibration procedure is finished.
Error messages:
"O_Ld" – scales overload
„Lo" – low battery

USE GUIDELINES
Do NOT leave a load on the scale for long periods of
time.
Avoid extreme temperatures. Do not place the unit in
direct sunlight or near air conditioning units.
Avoid using strong electrical or magnetic fields
during use.
Avoid vibration. Do not place the device near heavy
or vibrating machinery.
Do not place the unit close to open windows, doors
or fans that may cause unstable results due to air
currents.
Keep your machine clean. Do not store products on
the scale when it is not being used.
3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a)
Use non-corrosive cleaners to clean each surface.
b)
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
before reusing it.
c)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight. Do not store the
scales upright.
d)
Never spray the device with water jets.
e)
Regular inspections of the device must be carried out
to check its technical efficiency and for any damage.
f)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
g)
Do not leave the battery in the device if it will not be
used for a longer period.
h)
The device must not be washed with water. This
prohibition applies for both external and internal
parts.
SAFE REMOVAL OF BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES
To replace the battery, remove the flap in the
housing, insert the batteries in accordance with the
markings on the device, and close the flap.
The device takes 1,5 V AA batteries.
Dead batteries are removed from the device using
the same procedure by which they are installed.
Dispose of batteries with the appropriate recycling
facility.
DISPOSING OF USED DEVICES
Do not dispose of this device in municipal waste systems.
Hand it over to an electronic and electrical device recycling
and collection point. Check the symbol on the product, user
manual and packaging. The plastics used to construct the
device can be recycled in accordance with their markings.
By choosing to recycle, you are making a significant
contribution to the protection of our environment.
Contact local authorities for information on your local
recycling facility.
