It takes about 30 seconds before a connection is established.
When a connection has been established between the parent unit and the baby unit, the

If no connection has been established after 0 seconds, both connection lights burn red and

the parent unit beeps from time to time.
Place the baby unit at least 1 metre/ feet away from your baby. (Fig. 15)

Position the parent unit within the operating range of the baby unit. Make sure it is at least 1
metre/ feet away from the baby unit. For more information on the operating range, see
section 'Operating range' below. (Fig. 11)
operating range
The operating range of the baby monitor is 300 metres/900 feet in open air. Depending on the
surroundings and other disturbing factors, this range may be smaller. Indoors the operating range is
up to 50 metres/150 feet.

Note:If you press the volume + and – buttons too long, the volume will not be adjusted.

talk function
You can use the talk button on the parent unit to talk to your baby (e.g to comfort your baby).
