Good maintenance is essential for safe, economical and trouble-free operation. It will also help
reduce air pollution.
The purpose of the maintenance and adjustment schedule is to keep the machine in the best
operating condition.
Turn off the engine before performing any maintenance. If the engine must be run, make sure

quality may damage the machine.
Please never use non approved components and remove the safety devices after or during
maintenance.
Maintenance
Clean the outside of the machine.
Check that the engine switch works
correctly.
Check that the saw chain do not move
when the engine is idling or when the
choke is in the start throttle position.
Check that the saw chain are
undamaged and show no signs of
cracking or other damage. Replace the
saw chain if necessary.
Clean the air filter. Replace if necessary.
Check that nuts and screws are tight.
Check that there are no fuel leaks from
the engine, tank or fuel lines.
Check the chain brake is work correctly.
Check the oil supply is work correctly.
