Service Time

The service time of respiratory protective filters depends on the conditions of use.
The end of service time of gas filters can usually be detected by odour on
the clean side of the filter device. The filter must then be changed
immediately.
The end of service time of particle filters can usually be detected by an
increase in the flow resistance. In power assisted filtering devices the
minimum flow rate is not achieved and a warning signal and / or a visual
warning signal (red LCD) is activated. The filter must then be changed
immediately.
Attention!
When exchanging used filters both filters have to be replaced even if
only one of either of these appears to be at the end of its service time.
Sufficient respiratory protection is otherwise not guaranteed.
