Cleaning with warm drinking water

Clean all parts of the nebuliser thoroughly for 5 minutes with
warm drinking water (approx. 40 °C) and a little dishwashing
liquid with no skin protecting or disinfecting additives (dosage
according to the manufacturer's recommendations) until all resi-
dues of the inhalation solution and other contaminants have been
removed.
If necessary, use a small brush to remove dirt. For hygiene rea-
sons, this brush must then be used exclusively for cleaning the
nebuliser.
Then rinse all parts thoroughly (for a least 1 minute) under warm
running water (approx. 40 °C without dishwashing liquid) to
remove all remaining dishwashing liquid.
Pour out the water that has collected in the individual parts.
You can remove excess water more quickly by shaking the parts.

Disinfection

Disinfect the dismantled nebuliser and the mouthpiece or the mask
used immediately after cleaning.
Disinfection with boiling water
Place the individual parts of your INQUA
water for at least 15 minutes.
Use a clean pot and fresh drinking water.
Drinking water contains dissolved particles (e.g., salts) that can form
a milky film on plastic parts during the boiling process, depending on
their type and quantity. This film can be prevented by using distilled
water in the boiling operation.
When boiling, make sure that there is enough water in the pot to pre-
vent the nebuliser parts from coming into contact with the base of the
pot.
