Insert the metal pin again ( a ) . Lift
the metal tube along with the
hooked blade holder back up and
place the lower part of the new
cutting head underneath ( b ) .

... and use your right hand to pla-
ce the blade cover back on the
lower screw channel.

Align the blade holder such that
the silver metal pin is guided
through the eyelets in the blade
holder ( a ) . At the same time, in-
sert the metal tube back flush
into the lower part of the cutting
head so it touches at the front
( b ) . Push the metal tube in firmly
for safety.

Now place the upper part of the
cutting head flush on the lower
part and assemble these. Then
screw the four screws on the
cutting head back tightly and co-
ver them with protective caps.
Leave the blade cover open.

Finally reinsert the dirt control
device ( see Chapter on this, 6 to
7 ) and the blade ( see Chapter on
this, 6 to 8 ) . Please check
whether the release and retrac-
tion of the blade is functioning
properly.
