Information for use
The VF3 series visors are robust, durable face shields which can be attached
to the SCHUBERTH F300 fire service helmet by means of the pre-mounted
mechanism.
The simple mounting of the visor allows face protection to be adapted
easily to dangers and demands.
Before use
The visor is a part of personal safety protection (PSE). Before its first use
every user must ensure the following (see the European Guideline
89/656/EEC):
• correct mounting and fit
• the PSE must be compatible with any other PSE worn simultaneously
• the PSE must be suitable to the respective workplace conditions
• the PSE must be compatible with the ergonomic requirements and the
health needs of the user
Attention: Before each use it must be ensured that the correct
type of visor has been selected for the intended activity (see
"Areas of application").
Attention: Visors can transmit impacts. This means that corrective
spectacles worn under the visor can be damaged in such cases and
thereby cause danger to the wearer.
