Attaching/removing the visor pane
1. Insert both locking hooks of the visor mechanism into the multifunction
adapter slot and press in firmly until an audible click is heard.
2. To remove, press the locked hooks inward and pull the visor out in an
upward direction.
:
Attention
Full protection is only achieved if the visor fits
optimally, is fit for use (see "Maintenance") and is locked in the
lowest position (usage position).
Maintenance
Please check the visor for damage and wear at regular intervals and also
dependent on use (e.g. always after fire extinguishing, rescue and recovery
operations). In case of visible damage or impaired vision (e.g. due to scrat-
ches, discolorations or soiling), the visor should be replaced as soon as
possible.
Also check the correct and firm seating of the visor.

Attention
A damaged visor may not continue to be used. It must
be replaced and made unusable for safety reasons.

Cleaning and maintenance

The appropriate cleaning, maintenance and handling of the visor is the
prerequisite for its faultless functioning.
After each use SCHUBERTH visors should be cleaned carefully. Do this
carefully so that the surfaces are not scratched. The best results are to be
achieved by using lukewarm mild soapy water. Thereafter, rinse in clean
water and wipe dry. Do not use hard cloths or caustic liquids, solvents or
cleaners.
Storage / transport
The visor pane should be stored in a clean and dry environment without
being exposed to the direct rays of the sun. Storage temperature should be
0 °C to 45 °C at normal ambient pressure and up to 90 % relative humidity.
On delivery, the visor is packed in a protective film. This film should not be
removed for storage and transport.
It is essential to avoid storing in the proximity of aggressive substances
such as solvents or fuels.
Period of use
A visor's lifetime is highly dependent on the type of stress, care, mainte-
nance and storage.
