Contraindications
This list of contraindications is not absolute. If
one of the conditions listed below applies to
you we strongly advise that you consult with
your physician before using the Power Vibe.
Pregnancy
Acute thrombosis
Serious cardiovascular disease
Pacemaker
Recent wounds from an operation or surgery
Hip and knee implants
Acute hernia, discopathy, spondylolysis
Severe diabetes
Epilepsy
Recent infections
Severe migraine
Tumors
Recently placed IUD's, metal pins, or plates
Research is still being conducted on the
effects of vibration on certain medical
conditions. This list may soon be reduced.
Practical experience indicates that there are a
number of cases where it is beneficial to
integrate Whole Body Bibration training into
ones treatment. This should always be done
under the supervision of a doctor, physician or
trained professional.

Relative contraindications

Use Power Vibe Pro only after consulting a
medical doctor.
• Epilepsy
• Gallstones, kidney stones, bladder stones
• Articular rheumatism and arthrosis
• Heart failure, insufficiency NYHA III-IV
• Cardiac dysrhythmia
• Cardiac affections
• Metal or plastic implants such as pacemakers
or coils
• Chronic back pain (after fracture, disc
disorders, spondylosis (6 months after acute
appearing)
• Severe diabetic mellitus with arterial
circulation disorders
• Tumors (in a period 5 years plus after
appearing, excluding metastases in the
musculoskeletal system)
• Spondylolisthesis without gliding
• M. Parkinson
• Chondromalasy of the joints of the lower
extremities, osteonecrosis and -chondrosis
• Arterial circulation disorders (Stadium
Fontaine III°)
• Venous insufficiency with ulcus cruris
• Morbus Sudeck Stadium II (CRPS)
• Lymphatic edema

Absolute contraindications

Do not use Power Vibe Pro
• Acute inflammations, infections and/ or fever
• Acute arthropathy and arthrosis
• Acute rheumatoid arthritis
• Acute migraine
• Fresh (surgical) wounds
• Postoperative wounds (traumatology, visceral
surgery, orthopedics, neural surgery ...)
• Endoprostheses of the lower extremities and
spine (plates, screws...)
• Implants of the spine
• Metal or synthetic implants (e.g. pacemaker,
artificial cardiac valves, recent stents, brain
implants)
• Acute thromboses or increased thrombotic
afflictions (6 months)
• Acute back problems after fracture, disc
related problems, spondylosis, gliding
spondylolisthesis
• Pregnancy
• severe osteoporosis with BMD < 70mg/ml
• Spasticity (after stroke/ apolex with spasticity,
spinal cord lesion...)
• Morbus Sudeck Stadium I (CRPS I)
• Tumors with metastases in the
musculoskeletal system
• Position dizziness (PBPD)
