Connecting a sensitive edge with 8.2 kOhm
(Optional, only with additional dedicated controller)
It is possible to connect an electrical and/or pneumatic safety bar to
the UST2 device using an additional control unit.
It is to be connected to a resistance (8.2 kOhm) in order to be able
to monitor the entire electrical circuit of the safety bar.
The additional preliminary limit switch is to be set so that the door,
when closing, activates the limit switch 55 cm above the ground.
Connecting the functional photoelectric barrier (fig. 5)
It is possible to directly connect a photoelectric barrier to the UST2
device (to terminal blocks X3 and X5) to make the passage safe. If
the infrared beam of the photoelectric barrier is interrupted during
the CLOSING movement of the door, it blocks.
