1 - GENERAL INFORMATION

Espas 20T is a device for the management of a manned facility in an Espas 20 automated car
park. In fact, it can be used at the manned pay station of a car park consisting of other Espas
20 entry and exit stations or Espas 20 P automatic pay stations.
The device consists of:
- sheet steel casing with protective electrophoretic and polyester coating
- practical top opening for paper changing
- backlit 8x2 alphanumeric LCD display for the instructions to the operator
- scanner to read the barcode in 1D or 2D format
- 3 buttons for the whole management of the device
- fanfold ticket thermal printer;
- electronic board for the complete control of operations
- power supply with European socket
- USB cable for programming
Espas 20T can perform operations for the management of a manned pay station:
- read tickets printed by the entry stations and calculate the amount to be paid accord-
ing to the current tariff and the time of issue printed on them
- print tickets containing payment information and valid for exit within a pre-set time
- print pre-defined special tickets, valid for exit within 1, 3, 12 hours, valid as season
tickets for 1, 3 days, of a duration and cost that can be set by the user.
- set a linear tariff (unit of time and amount per unit of time)
- set the prices of every special ticket
- Set duration and price of CUSTOM special tickets
- print payment reports for the current shift
- print shift-closing reports
- print descriptive reports of the current tariff
All the configurations can be modified with the ESPASCONFY program.
