For safety's sake, ensure clamps are always unlocked (cam closed) when not in use.
Never lift more than one plate at a time.
Apply the downgradation if necessary (see sketch).
The minimum weight of lifting load should be equal to 5% of the clamp's WLL (e.g. if clamps
WLL is 1000 kg, then minimum weight is 50 kg). This value is given for a clamp in perfect
working order and respecting Tractel Solutions SAS conditions of use and recommendations.
Consult Tractel in case of loads with weight inferior to the minimum recommended value.
Lifting clamps are not suitable for creating permanent joints.
Working temperature: -20° to +100° C.
Clamp for lifting in all positions without marking the surface of smooth or polished pieces (stainless
steel, aluminium, pre-lacquered, laminated wood, concrete, plastic, glass plates, welded-plate
assemblies, etc...).
This clamp is fitted with an automatic gripping mechanism: the locking handle is designed to fit the
clamp over the edge of the object to be moved and the automatic locking on the trigger grips the
piece to be lifted.
It is also fitted with a safety spring mechanism ensuring permanent contact of the cam against the
piece to be lifted, even when it is laid down.
The opening of the NXR models is adjustable by means of a pin in increments of 20 mm.
1) Open the clamp by pushing the red handle (10) down until the trigger (8) is activated. Do not
activate the trigger when handling fragile loads.
2) Fit the clamp onto the piece to be lifted, push it home so that the throat is in contact with the
edge of the piece.
3) The trigger (8) is released, the jaws (7) come into contact with the piece to be lifted, the red
handle (10) goes up: the safety mechanism is now activated and the clamp is ready to lift.
4) The piece can be lifted as it is clamped by the force of the weight.
5) Once the piece has been moved and laid down, release the clamp by opening it via the red
handle (10).
NXR05: before performing operations 1 to 5.
A) To adjust the opening of the clamp, remove the pin (18).
B) Slide the mobile flanges (4) over the fixed flanges (3) to the desired position.
C) Put the pin (18) back.
The plate or piece to be lifted must always be driven home into the throat of the clamp.
Never lift greasy or oily pieces.
Do not use the automatic gripping mechanism when handling fragile loads.

Handling accessory to lift I and H-profiled girders, welded-plated assemblies, horizontal plates.
1) Using the lever (8), open the grab fully until the trigger (9) activates.
2) Place the clamp against the plate or girder until the slot is driven home against the flange of
the plate or girder to be lifted.
