Preparing for First Time Use
Before first use, clean the inside of the unit by wiping with a moist, non-abrasive sponge,
towel or cloth and then wipe with a non-abrasive dry towel. Wipe down the inside of the
Popcorn Kettle and be sure it is properly placed in the brackets before starting.
ASSEMBLY:
1. KETTLE ASSEMBLY: Insert Kettle (F) by slightly tilting kettle toward you, while
lining up the Kettle Posts (J) with the Bracket Slots (K) – see figure
2. KETTLE LEVER ASSEMBLY: Attach the Kettle Lever (D) into the Kettle Post (J)
on the right side of the unit. Assemble using counter-clockwise rotation
3. Plug in the Kettle Plug (L) by inserting on the bottom of the Kettle (F).
Using Your Appliance
1. First, find a flat surface near an electrical outlet before starting. Make sure your
cord is away from any water source. It is acceptable to use an extension cord
if needed.
2. Gather your popcorn making supplies: popcorn, seasonings, bowls or bags
for holding the popcorn, cooking oil, Kernel Measuring Cup and Oil Measuring
Spoon. (Kernel Measuring Cup and Oil Measuring Spoon are included with
your unit.)
3. Plug in the appliance while switch is in OFF " "position.
4. Make sure Popcorn Kettle is properly secured in support brackets by inserting
the kettle onto the brackets of the unit. Fasten Popcorn Kettle Lever by screwing
counter clockwise
(see assembly instructions on page 4).
5. Insert Internal Plug into the socket on the bottom of the Popcorn Kettle.
6. Turn appliance ON " " by flipping the switch on the top right of the machine.
Allow the appliance to run 3–5 minutes to heat up Popcorn Kettle.
7. Turn unit OFF " ".
8. Use the Oil Measuring Spoon supplied with your POPCORN MAKER to add 2
teaspoons of your favorite popcorn cooking oil to the Popcorn Kettle. For best
popping results, it is suggested to use light vegetable oil.
9. Add ¼ cup popcorn kernels to the Popcorn Kettle using supplied Kernel
Measuring Cup. Close Kettle Lid.
10. Turn the unit ON " " and close the door. The Popcorn Maker will begin popping
your popcorn. You will notice the popcorn will begin to spill out the top of the
kettle.
11. Once the kernels have stopped popping, tip the Popcorn Kettle using the red
or silver knob (varies by model) on the Popcorn Kettle Lever to release the
remaining popped popcorn.
