11.1 NUK Breast Milk
Container
If the breast milk is not used immediately,
you must seal the filled breast milk
container firmly and store it in the
refrigerator or freeze it.
Warning! Do not place the entire NUK
JOLIE Breast Pump in the refrigerator, just
the breast milk container 10 with screw ring
13 and sealing disc 11.

11.2 Important information for handling breast milk

If time is short, defrost container with breast milk in
lukewarm water (max. 37°C), then feed immediately.
• Warning! If transporting chilled breast
milk make sure that it stays chilled at all
times, otherwise the milk could go off
and be harmful to your baby. Use a
cooler bag with ice packs, for example.
• Warning! Breast milk must not be
thawed in a microwave as this will
destroy valuable nutrients as well as
causing
possible
container, with a possible risk of
explosion. Uneven heating may result in
scalding!

11. Storing milk

When freezing breast milk, do not fill

Warmer.

that milk and milk fat are properly mixed
again.
• Defrosted, warmed or unused milk must
be disposed of and not refrozen.
