6. CLEANING
6.1. THE CAST IRON FRONT SECTION.
Preferably clean when the Fireplace is cold
using a slightly damp cloth.
6.2. THE GLASS PANE.
Fireplace window cleaning liquids are quite
effective products.
Never try to clean the glass while the fireplace
is working. We recommend using EQUATION
window cleaning products.
Replacing. The glass pane in your Fireplace is
made of thermal material, especially manufactured
for log and/or coal fireplaces. If it should break due
to an accident, it must be replaced by another glass
pane with the same technical specifications.
Contact our Distributor to provide you with the
appropriate glass pane, together with instructions to
assemble and seal it.

6.3. THE DEFLECTION PLATE.
1. Slide the deflection plate ("A") forward
(direction "B") until the fixing elements on the
sides match the notches. This will allow you to
remove the plate (direction "C").
2. Clean both sides of the deflector plate once a
season using a hard (wire) brush. This will
facilitate the transmission of air through the
plate and avoid its deterioration to a great
extent.
3. Install the deflection plate using the same
steps as above but in the opposite order.
6.4. JOINTS AND SEALS.
We recommend a visual inspection of the
state of joints (doors, glass...) and seals at the
beginning and half-way through a season to check
whether they need replacing or repairing.
