CPX−analogue I/O modules are exclusively intended for
use in CPX terminals. Analogue I/O modules for CPX ter
minals consist of an electronics module that is assembled
in an interlinking block of the CPX terminal along with a
combinable connection block.
The specified limits of the technical data must be complied
with during operation. For more detailed information, see the
description of the CPX analogue I/O module (P.BE−CPX−AX−...)
and the CPX system description (P.BE−CPX−SYS−...).
Warning
S Before carrying out installation and maintenance
work, switch off the following:
S Connect an earth wire with sufficient cable cross
section to the terminal marked with an earth symbol.
S The I/O modules contain electrostatically sensitive
devices. For this reason, do not touch any components.
Observe the handling specifications for electrostatically
sensitive devices.
Note
Only put a completely assembled and wired CPX
terminal into commission.
