Machine description
The PROXXON preci sion bore grinder is
designed for grinding and boring opera-
tions too precise and detailed for stan-
dard drills. The precision bore grinder is
ideal for working on steel, non-ferrous
metal, glass, wood,
ceramics and more. Its applications
include precision boring, grinding,
polish ing, brushing, derusting,
engraving, enchasing, and disagreg -
gat ing.
The quiet-running permanent-magnet
motor provides powerful torque over the
entire speed range. The anti-
lash precision ball bearings of the
drill spindle facilitate optimal true-
run turning. The spindle head is
turned out for easy mounting of
PROXXON collet chucks
(available as accessory).

Operating instructions
Clamping and changing the bit
Important!
Unplug machine before changing
bit.Never press lock button 1 (Fig. 2)
with machine running.
1. Slightly turn drill chuck 2 (Fig. 2) and
simultaneously press lock button (1)
until the latter engages.
2. Open chuck and change bit.
When clamping drill bits, insert to mini-
mise projecting length.
