Air Cooling System
Overtime debris may accumulatein cylinder cooling fins and
cannot be observedwithout partial engine disassembly. Forthis
reason,we recommendyou havean authorizedSearsservice
dealercleanthe cooling system per recommendedintervals
(see "MaintenanceSchedule"on page 17). Equallyimportantis
to keeptop of engine free from debris. See "CleanDebris".
Keepareas within heavy line clear of debris.
Clean Combustion Chamber
We recommendyou havean authorized Searsservice dealer

AFTEREACHUSE
Water should not remain in the unit for long periods of time.
Sediments or minerals can deposit on pump parts and
"freeze" pump action. Follow these procedures after every
use:
1.
Flush detergent system by turning its detergent shut-off
valve to "Off" position and run pressure washer with
HydroFoam TM Launcher. Flush for one to two minutes.
2.
Shut off engine, turn off water supply, point gun in a
safe direction and squeezetrigger to relieve trapped
pressure, engage triggerlock on spraygun and let engine
cool.
WARHIHG
The high pressure stream of water that this
equipment produces can cut through skin and its
_
nderlying tissues, leading to serious injury and
)ossibie amputation.
Spray gun traps high water pressure, even when
engine is stopped and water is disconnected,
which can cause injury.
o Keephigh pressurehoseconnected to pumpand spraygun
whilesystemis pressurized.
o ALWAYS pointspraygun in safedirectionand squeeze spray
gun trigger,to release high pressure, everytime you stop
engine.Engage trigger lockwhennot in use.
3.
Disconnect hose from spray gun and high pressure
outlet on pump. Drain water from hose, gun, and nozzle
extension. Use a rag to wipe off the hose.
4.
Empty pump of all pumped liquids by pulling recoil
handle about 6 times. This should remove most liquid in
pump.
5.
Coil high pressure hose and properly hang it on hook
provided on accessorytray.
6.
Store unit in a clean, dry area.
7.
If storing for more than 30 days see "Long Term
Storage" on next page.
