Slide the cabinet into the hole far enough to allow the guide-channel of the sill plate to contact the
inside wall surface (See Figure F).

Drill two (2) 5/32" dia. pilot holes each side at the locations shown (see Figure F, page 13) and install four
(4) #12A x 2" screws (Item # 4, page 2). Provided that Step 5 (hole construction) provides a sturdy mount
with solid vertical studs, no support brackets are required. The installation must support the weight of
the unit plus an additional weight of 400 pounds on the rear of the cabinet.
If support brackets are available, they can certainly be used for through-the-wall installations as shown
in Figure F, page 13.
If the reliability of the wall is in question, a window installation kit which includes support brackets can
be ordered (see Accessories).
