SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
This instruction manual contains all the information you need to assemble your shed. Please read
all instructions before beginning and, during assembly, follow each step carefully.
•
Before beginning construction of your shed, find out about any current local regulations, especially
regarding surface area and location.
•
Be careful when handling the components of your shed as some may have sharp edges. Please
wear work gloves, safety glasses and long sleeves when assembling or carrying out mainte-
nance work on your shed, in order to avoid any injuries.
•
Keep children and pets away from the assembly or maintenance area to avoid any distractions
or accidents. Any plastic bags or small components must be kept out of reach of children.
•
Please be careful when using a stepladder, as you may lose balance or fall. Make sure that it is
fully open and placed on a totally flat surface. Do not rest it against the shed while it is not fully
assembled. Never climb onto the roof of the shed.
•
Proceed with caution when using the various tools needed to assemble this shed. Familiarise
yourself with how all the tools work before proceeding. Respect the safety instructions for the
tools used to assemble this shed.
•
Take great care and maintain concentration throughout the assembly process. Do not attempt
to assemble your shed if you feel tired, have taken medication, have consumed alcohol or suffer
from vertigo.
•
Do not attempt to assemble the shed if you notice that there are components missing or if you
do not have enough time to finish assembling it on the same day. Never leave your shed par-
tially assembled as it may be seriously damaged, even by light winds.
•
Do not assemble your shed in wet or windy weather. The large side panels may be blown away
by the wind, making construction difficult and dangerous.
•
The garden shed must be attached to a horizontal, flat area of ground. Do not assemble the
garden shed on a slope.
•
Tighten the screws at the very end of the assembly process, after ensuring that the side panels
and door leaves are straight.
•
Appliances that produce heat must not be stored in the shed (barbecues, blowtorches, etc.).
•
Do not store any chemical products in your shed (e.g. chemical products for swimming pools).
Flammable and corrosive products must be stored in watertight containers.
•
This shed was designed only for storage purposes and not to be inhabited.
