• Always wear appropriate eye protection
when operating the unit! Failure to wear eye
protection can result in eye injuries due to
airborne particles.
• Never direct the nozzles towards your eyes or
uncovered areas of skin!
• Never work with the viewing pane open!
• Regularly inspect all connecting lines and
hoses (e.g., power cord and compressed
air hoses) for damage (e.g., kinks, cracks,
porosity).
• Units with damaged connecting lines or hoses,
or those which exhibit other defects may not be
used.
• Always disconnect the unit from the
compressed air supply prior to performing any
maintenance tasks.
• Always disconnect the unit from the mains
power supply prior to performing any work on
electrical components.
• Do not activate the foot switch when only the
compressed air inlet hose is connected. The
unconnected hose can whip about, resulting in
a signifi cant risk of injury.
• Always disconnect the unit from the mains
power supply prior to replacing the fl uorescent
tube.
• Never press on or bend the lamp body during
replacement (breakage risk). If necessary, wear
gloves or use a cloth.
When using micro sandblasting tanks:
• Check the tank cover for a secure seat prior
to starting operation. Tank covers that are not
securely closed can explosively open. Ejected
parts and abrasive represent a signifi cant risk
of injury.
• Always wear safety glasses when working with
the tank (fi lling, cleaning, maintenance).
• Abrasive residue on the seal will result in leaks
and premature seal wear. Always clean the
threads and seal after fi lling and handtighten
the cover.
• Solvents and tensides can result in the
formation of microscopic cracks in the plastic
(explosion hazard!). Use only a clean, dry cloth
to wipe the tank out and off. Never write on the
tanks or place adhesive labels on them.
• Regularly inspect the tanks and tank covers for
damage and immediately replace any suspect
components.

4.1 Wall Mounting
The holder required for wall mounting can be orde-

accessories list). The holder includes instructions for
mounting the unit on a wall.
4.2 Setup and Connection
1. Remove the foot switch stored in the blasting
chamber.
2. Connect the foot switch to the sandblasting unit by
completely inserting the two red and yellow pneu-
matic hoses into their correspondingly marked
connectors until they reach their stops (Figure 1a).
3. Connect the compressed air supply to the sand-
blasting unit:
• Loosen the air connection's knurled sleeve nut
on the unit (Figure 1b).
• Push the knurled sleeve nut over the included
blue compressed air connecting hose
(Figure 1c).
• Push the compressed air connecting hose onto
the compressed air connection and tighten the
knurled sleeve nut (Figure 1d, 1e).
4. Connect the compressed air hose to the com-
pressed air supply:
• Loosen the compressed air connector's knurled
sleeve nut and push it over the included blue
compressed air connecting hose (Figure 2a).
• Push the compressed air connecting hose onto
the compressed air connection and tighten the
knurled sleeve nut (Figure 2b, 2c).
• Connect the connector to the laboratory
compressed air supply (Figure 3).
Do not bend or kink the hose (Figure 4)!
4.3 Installing the Nozzle
1. Remove the base grate (Figure 5).
2. Insert the blasting nozzle into the retainer
(Figure 6).
3. Check the extraction hose for proper seat
(Figure 7).
4.4 Adjusting the Operating
Pressure
1. Set the selector switch to the recycling sandblas-
ting position (Figure 8, Position 1).
