(EN) TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
Compressor will not run
Motor hums but cannot run
or runs slowly
Internal overload switch trips
repeatedly
Air tank pressure drops
when compressor shuts off
Excessive moisture in
discharge air
Compressor runs
continuously
Air output lower than normal
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Battery pack is not charged
2. Bad pressure switch
3. Tank is full of air
4. Internal overload switch is tripped
1. Shorted or open motor winding
2. Defective check valve or unloader
1. Lack of proper ventilation / room
temperature too high
2. Electrical overload
1. Loose connections (fittings, tubing,
etc.)
2. Loose drain valve / open drain valve
3. Check valve leaking
1. Excessive water in air tank
2. High humidity
1. Defective pressure switch
2. Excessive air usage
3. Piston rings are worn
1. Broken inlet valves
2. Connections leaking
SOLUTION
1. Recharge the battery pack.
2. Take product to service centre.
3. Compressor will turn on when tank
pressure drops to cut-in pressure.
4. Turn off product and allow it to cool;
remove and reinstall battery packs.
1. Take product to service centre.
2. Take product to service centre.
1. Move product to well ventilated area.
2. Turn off product and allow to cool;
remove and reinstall battery pack.
1. Check all connections with soap and
water solution and tighten.
2. Tighten drain valve / close drain
valve.
3. Take product to service centre.
DANGER
Do not disassemble check valve, tank
drain valve or safety relief valve with
air in tank. Release the air from the air
tank.
1. Drain the air tank.
2. Move to area of less humidity; use air
line filter.
1. Take product to service centre.
2. Decrease air usage; compressor not
large enough for tool's requirement.
3. Replace piston rings; call customer
service for assistance.
1. Take product to service centre
2. Tighten connections.
