Eco-efficiency
• An extremely powerful microprocessor is used to track the
maximum power point under all operating circumstances
• Small strings for the highest kWh output. Strings receiving
less sunlight have no influence on other strings. When
one panel is in the shadow, there will only be losses in
that string. The inverter ensures that maxi mum power is
continuously available. This results in maximum energy
generation.

• The strings are small and produce a similar voltage to the
mains electricity grid.
3.2. Application
The inverter has been designed for MiniString solar modules.
The desired system size can be achieved by coupling a num-
ber of inverters to each other. The limiting factor is the maxi-
mum mains current of 16 A. This means that a maximum
of 12 StecaGrid 300 inverters or 7 StecaGrid 500 inverters
can be coupled together on the AC side. A combination of
StecaGrid 300 and StecaGrid 500 is also possible. In this way,
an output power of between 300 W and 3,600 W can be
achieved.
3.3. Grid monitoring
StecaGrid 300/500 inverters monitor the grid voltage and
grid frequency. If one of these parameters increases or de-
creases beyond the permitted range, the inverter disconnects
from the grid.
