4 Installation, commissioning and
operation
WARNING
Risk of death by electrocution!
The unit may only be connected to the grid by qualified

personnel in accordance with the regulations of the local
power supply company.
When working on the solar system, disconnect the inverter
X
from the power supply.
Make sure that the power supply cannot be unintentionally
X
switched on.
Do not interrupt the DC connection between the solar
X
modules and from the solar modules to the inverter while
current is flowing. If the DC connection has to be inter-
rupted, then always switch off the DC circuit breaker first.
Lay the cable such that the connection cannot come loose
X
accidentally.
Press the MC connection together until they audibly snap
X
into place.

4.1. Notes on installation

CAUTION
Damage to the inverter!
Do not install the inverter unit
X
• outdoors
• in humid rooms
• in rooms which are too hot
• in dusty rooms
• in rooms where highly flammable gas mixtures can occur
Keep the cables of the solar modules as short as possible.
X
Do not block the air flow which cools the inverter.
X
Keep 20 cm distance below and above the inverter.
