4. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION AND OPERATION (fi g. 2 - 3 - 4)

Warning
Always turn the power off before any interventions on the appliance.
The electrical system must be made consistent with the electrical code in force in the installation
country.
Protect the appliance and the connected motor with a thermal switch of suitable size with a current
balancing threshold of 30 mA.
To operate remove the terminal board cover unscrewing the two screws
Make the electrical connections as indicated in the terminal board diagrams in fi g. 2 and 3.
Available inputs and controls
Local Open: for connecting the NO contact of a device (such as a pushbutton) used to send an open pulse to the
automation between brown cable and pink cable.
Local Close: for connecting the NO contact of a device (such as a pushbutton) used to transmit a close pulse to
the automation between brown cable and green cable.
Centralized Open: for connecting the NO contact of a device used to transmit an open pulse to more automations
between brown cable and yellow cable (see farther).
Centralized Close: for connecting the NO contact of a device used to transmit a close pulse to more automations
between brown cable and grey cable (see farther).
Stop: for connecting the NC contact of a device (such as a red mushroom-head pushbutton with mechanical lock)
used to stop the automation in an emergency between brown cable and white cable.
Safety: for connecting the NC contact of a safety device (such as a photocell). In stand-by mode, this device stops the
automation, while, during the closing phase, it reverses the motion and prevents entrapment risks.

If you connect a stop device OPEN jumper JP5
If you connect a safety device OPEN jumper JP6.
The appliance is not equipped with output for powering accessories or safety devices. If such devices
have to be used, they must be powered through an external source.

If these standard settings meet the application needs, no additional programming is required.
Otherwise, it is possible to change the factory-set parameters according to the procedure described
in the following paragraphs.
