OPERATING THE SCARIFIER-REMOVER

ADJUSTING THE WORKING DEPTH

The working depth may be adjusted by means of the height adjustment lever (fig. 12). There are 6 positions
that you must shift between according to the desired working depth and the wear-and-tear of the blades. For a
deeper working depth, lower the lever.

· Always perform this task with the engine and the blades shut off
GETTING STARTED WITH THE MACHINE
After following the steps for preparing the machine for use (pp. 31 to 34 and start-up (pp. 35 and 36), take the
machine to the area to be worked on without turning on the rotavator. To do so, press the traction handle (p.6
letter A and fig.11). This will allow the machine to move forward without the need to push it.
When you have reached the area to be worked on, press the rotavator handle (p.30 letter B and fig.11) in order
for the blades to rotate and the work to begin.
In order to stop the blades, release the rotavator handle (p.30 letter B and fig.11), releasing the traction handle
(p.30 letter A and fig.11) in order to stop the machine from moving forward.
NOTE: In order to move the machine by pushing the 4 wheels without starting the engine up, the lever must
always be in the neutral "0" position
RELEASING THE WHEELS (ROTATING THE MACHINE)
This machine features a right wheel release system in order for it to rotate with the engine running without any
effort.
Upon reaching the area where you want to rotate, first stop pressing the traction handle (p.30 letter A) and then
press the wheel release handle (p.30 letter F)
· If you don't stop pressing the traction handle in advance, the release handle will not work.
