POSITION A (starting position)
In this position, the handlebar must be placed in the starting position A (fig.3), with the engine at the front of the
machine. This means the large agricultural wheels will be close to the operator.
In this position, the machine has 3 speeds. 2 forward speeds and one reverse speed, as shown on the plate
under the shift lever.
In this case, the safety pin (fig.6) must always be raised for the 3 speeds.
Rotating the handlebar in order to change position
Turn the handle to the right to put it into position B (fig.4) (opposite the starting position). As may be seen in
fig.4, the agricultural wheels are at the front and the handlebar is above the engine.
In order to rotate the handlebar, loosen the nut in the handlebar support (fig.5) with a 30 pipe wrench, also
lowering the safety pin (fig.6) to the right of this nut. Once the handlebar is in the new position, re-tighten the
support nut.
Then raise the speed lever and rest it on the "U" shaped support (fig.6), in order for the lever to be used from this
new operating position.
You will not be able to rotate the handlebar without lowering the safety pin.
In this position, the machine has one forward speed and one reverse speed.
The forward speed corresponds to the letter "R" and the reverse corresponds to the "1" on the speed plate. The
neutral position is "0".
When operating the machine in this new position, the letter "R" and the numbers "0" and "1" will be reversed.
NOTE: The handlebar can only be rotated to one side in order to ensure that the cables and covers do not break.
· Never work with the handlebar at an angle to the machine, ensuring that it is always aligned with it.
