Please apply blood onto the strip.
3. Obtaining a blood sample
Use the pre-set lancing device to
puncture the desired site. Wipe off the
first appeared drop of blood with a
clean cotton swab. The size of the drop
should be at least 0.5 microliter (μL) of
volume for a blood glucose test or 0.8
microliter (μL) of volume for a β-ketone
test. Gently squeeze the punctured area
to obtain another drop of blood. Be
careful NOT to smear the blood sample.
4. Bring strip to sample
While holding the meter in an angled
position with the strip facing down, gently
bring the strip to the sample so that the
absorbent hole can sip in the blood.
Confirmation window should be
completely filled if enough blood samples
have been applied. Do NOT remove your
finger until you hear a beep sound.
