Electric heater (managed as the sole
heating source)
In the case of fan coils that provide cooling
via the coil and heating via the heater, the
thermostat must be configured as shown
below:
Setup for (2/3 way) shut-off valve: P0
= 1
1
Setup for downstream water probe: P0
= 0
2
Allow 2T+2F management: P0
The heater can be activated at any time,
regardless of the position of the selector for
the thermostat's functioning mode (AUTO-V1-
V2-V3-AUX).
The fan coils that require this configuration
impose an air side changeover and Maximum
value check only.
In this operating mode, as with integration
mode, the heater is activated on the basis of
pre-ventilation and post-ventilation logics
(see the previous figure) to prevent the
intervention of the protection thermostats.

replacement mode)
ColdPlasma air purifier and germicidal
lamp accessory
If the accessory configured via parameter P0
is the air purifier (Cold Plasma/bactericidal

lamp), the "AUX" position is used to purify the
air regardless of the thermostat operation
requests. This type of accessory is activated
even if the operating speed selector is not on
"AUX". To run the purifying device at minimum
speed regardless of the thermostat requests,
use the "AUX" position.
In this position, in fact, the thermostat will
always activate ventilation at the minimum
speed, as shown in Table, closing the shut-off
CONTROLLING THE FANCOILS WITH A
RADIANT FLOOR
The AER503IR thermostat can control heating
systems comprised like those shown in the
figure, specifically:
1.
System with only a fan coil (P1
2.
System with a fan coil and radiant floor
(P1
= 1)

3.
System with only radiant floor (P1
In installations that also include cooling
the rooms, there is the restriction that air
conditioning is only guaranteed by the fan
coil.

To manage the fan coil - which allows the
electric heater to be used in combined
integrative and replacement modes - the
thermostat must be configured as follows:
Setup for (2/3 way) shut-off valve: P0
= 1
1
Setup for the upstream water probe: P0
= 1
2
Allow 2T+2F management: P0
Warning: even if the water probe is placed

upstream from the valve, the season
changeover is based on air temperature.
With this setup - in heating mode - the heater
can operate in two different types of mode
depending on how you have chosen to make
the thermostat operate:
device that is advisable to use alongside this
function to avoid any deterioration of the
environment (overheating or undercooling).
The ColdPlasma device must be connected
to output Y2, instead of the second valve.
The thermostat is configured for managing
the PC via the configuration P0
ColdPlasma is powered simultaneously with
the ventilation function, in both heating and
cooling mode.
As described above, the ColdPlasma device
in position "AUX" is used only for purification
while in the other positions (except OFF) it is
activated in relation to thermostat operation
requirements. In the case of continuous
