Cylinder Door Latch

Cylinder door latch. Make sure that all door latches can operate easily. Remove lint. If the latch is
damaged or worn, it is necessary to replace the latch (see
your dealer or Milnor. This is not routine maintenance.

WARNING
31 : Explosion Hazards—Inner door latches (divided cylinder machines)—A
damaged or improperly seated latch can cause the inner door to open during operation, damaging
the cylinder and shell. A damaged cylinder can rip apart during extraction, puncturing the shell
and discharging metal fragments at high speed.
• Do not operate the machine with any evidence of damage or malfunction.

Internal Barrier In Vent
1.
Internal Staph barrier. Make sure the barrier is seated in the
grooves and serviceable.

External staph barrier by others. Make sure caulk is good and
there are no air leaks.

Make sure that the flapper valve is serviceable and has no
particle contamination.
