SERVICING
Regular maintenance is essential for good stove operation.
Disconnect the device from the mains power supply before carrying out any maintenance.
DAILY CLEANING
Shake often smoke duct cleaning rods
Clean with a suitable vacuum cleaner. The whole process only takes a few minutes a day.
USING A VACUUM CLEANER, when the stove is cold:
- vacuum clean the door, hearth and the area around the combustion chamber where the ash falls (there is NO extractable ash pan).
- remove the combustion chamber or scrape it clean and unblock any blocked holes on all sides.
- vacuum-clean the combustion chamber compartment, clean the contact edges and replace the combustion chamber.
- clean the glass if necessary (when cold).
NEVER VACUUM HOT ASH as it would damage the vacuum cleaner.
After a few months clean, with the stove switched off, the flow sensor in the combustion air extraction pipe using dry air (such as that
used to clean PC keyboards).
EMPTY THE PELLET HOPPER AND VACUUM CLEAN THE BOTTOM AFTER A PERIOD OF DISUSE or at least every 15
days.
EVERY SEASON (by the Dealer)
- General cleaning, internally and externally
- Thorough cleaning of the heat exchange pipes
- Clean/check the exhaust pipes
NEVER loosen the socket head screws inside the firebox: the loading device would drop out
- Thorough cleaning and descaling of the combustion chamber and related compartment
- Clean fans and mechanically test the play and fastenings
- Clean the smoke duct (replace gasket on the smoke outlet pipe)
- Clean smoke extractor fan compartment, clean flow sensor, check thermocouple.
- Clean, inspect and descale the ignition element compartment, changing it if necessary
- Clean/check the mimic panel- Visually inspect the electric cables, connections and power supply cable
- Clean pellet hopper and check screw feeder-gearmotor assembly play
- Change door seal- Functional test, screw feeder loading, ignition, operation for 10 minutes and shutdown.
The smoke duct should be cleaned every 3 months if the stove is used frequently.
The stove will NOT function properly unless ANNUAL MAINTENANCE is implemented and any problems
deriving from this will not be covered by the warranty.
Non-compliance with maintenance procedures will render the warranty null and void.
OPTIONAL EXTRAS
REMOTE IGNITION BY PHONE (OPTIONAL cod. 281900)
The stove may be turned on remotely by phone by having the Dealer connect a dialler to the electronic circuit board (AUX/SE-
RIALE port) via the thin cable optional cod. 621240.
REMEMBER TO VACUUM THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER BEFORE EACH IGNITION
Should ignition fail, DO NOT re-ignite until you have emptied the combustion chamber.
