clamping.
Protruding shafts bend easily and cause
rough running.
Always make sure that the collet chuck and
the utilised tool have the same diameter!
1. Turn the swivel nut slightly and simultane-
ously press the lock button until it en-
gages.
2. Release the nut for a few rotations and
exchange the tool.
3. If the collet chuck needs to be replaced
as well, screw off the nut entirely, ex-
change the collet chuck and screw on the
nut lightly by hand.
4. Screw on the nut by hand and tighten us-
ing the supplied wrench.
Note:The long-necked LB/E drill/grinder was
ergonomically designed so that it is easy to
guide it along the fit. The thread of the collet
chuck nut is countersunk in the machine
housing. Using a drill chuck is not possible
for this reason.
Working with the device
Caution!
• Do not work without protective goggles.
• Do not work with damaged point grindings
or bent shafts.
• Wear a protective mask if large amounts of
dust or harmful dusts accumulate.
Switch on the device by activating the switch
and use the button to set the corresponding
speed to the work. These principles apply:
– Small milling cutters / pins = high speed,
– Large milling cutters / pins = low speed,
Not the amount of the surface pressure but
rather the correct and even speed yields high
grinding performance:
