cause
a) The binoculars are not
correctly adjusted to
personal eye spacing.
b) The viewer's pupil is not in
the binoculars' exit pupil.
c) The position of the
eyepiece cups does
not match the correct
use with and without
glasses.
Dioptre compensation
is not accurate
a) Object too close or
metering range
exceeded
b) The object is
insufficiently reflective
Battery flat

remedy
a) Simply correct the
eyebase of the two
binocular tubes by
bending the hinged axis
inwards or outwards.
b) Correct head, eye and
binocular position.
c) Correct adjustment:
If wearing glasses, screw
in eyepiece cups; for
viewing without glasses:
unscrew eyepiece cups.
Repeat dioptre
compensation (see p. 21)
Note information on

Replace battery (see p. 18)
