N.B..- If a 250-code memory is full and it is to be extended to a 500 or
1000-code memory, this can be achieved in the following manner:
1º.- Encode a new memory of 500 or 1000 with the installer and installation
code using function 2 of the ENCODE MEMORY menu.
2º.- Make a copy of the memory using function 4 of the menu (COPY
MEMORY) and by inserting the new 500 or 1000-code memory in socket
C and the memory containing the data in socket -A-
5.- REPLACE TRANSMITTER
This option is useful when a transmitter is to be replaced following loss,
fault, etc.
The security of the Roller system is based on unique transmitter codes that
cannot be copied, although through the console up to seven different
replacements can be made with the same transmitter code, leading to
different transmitters.
The new, initially manufactured transmitters have the replacement code
=0; therefore, the first possible replacement would be 1, followed by 2
and up to 7.
The transmitter with a higher replacement code will automatically disable
the previous replacements in the receiver by erasing them. It is therefore
vital that the replacement order is not skipped so as not to
prematurely use up the numbers.
By pressing Enter in this function, the console will request the installation
number.
INSTALLATION NO.
By pressing Enter again, the 7-figure transmitter code is requested, including
the zeros on the left.
TRANSMITTER CODE?
By pressing Enter again, the transmitter code and the installation number
are displayed for validation.
