The console will calculate the possibility of these numbers being entered
in the memory and, if invalid, Enter must be pressed to try again.
ERROR NOT VALID
The channel to be assigned to the memory is then requested.
CHANNEL ASSIGNED
Enter a number between 1 and 4 and press Enter. The console will then
start to record the transmitter codes and the channel assigned in the
memory.
Upon completing the process, a message will appear to indicate whether
it has been correct or whether errors have been generated.
MEMORY OK
Press Enter again to return to the menu.
This process can be carried out as many times as required, although taking
care to use new memories, given that the process erases all of the data in
the memory.
N.B.:
This process is very useful in new buildings where the installation is to be
left operational with all transmitters recorded and ready for use, although
to be given to users as they move into the building.
It is wise to view the memory and control that no error has been made
when entering the codes or the channel and to check that everything
corresponds with the installation data file.
3.- DISPLAY MEMORY
This option is selected when DISPLAY MEMORY appears in upper case
letters in the menu and ENTER is pressed. This allows for all of the entries
recorded in the memory to be displayed on the console screen and for a
transmitter to be blocked or unblocked.
First insert the memory in socket -A-.
INSERT MEMORY
IN SOCKET < A >
By pressing ENTER again, the console analyses the memory inserted. If it
is not valid, the following will appear
INSERT MEMORY
ERROR NOT VALID
If the memory is compatible but nothing is recorded on it, the following
will be indicated:
MEMORY EMPTY
If the console contains data, the following will appear on the screen:
REC. CODE
001
The figure appearing underneath REC. indicates the record or memory cell
that the console is reading at the time.
